Turkey Trot weekend at cherry hill park
November 6-8, 2026
We are celebrating all things fall with a Turkey Trot weekend! The main event is a 5K run around the campground, and we’ll be raising money for a local charity along the way. A scavenger hunt, plus a family movie night, will round out the fun.

2026 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
8:40am: Run Registration (Pavilion)
9:00am: Run Start Time
2:00-4:00pm: Scavenger Hunt
7:30pm: Family Movie Night (TV Lounge at the Clubhouse)
turkey trot 5k race:
Arrive at 8:40am to register. Registration is free for all overnight guests, and includes your race number and a souvenir button.
Costumes are encouraged! We are giving out prizes for the best 2 costumes (plus our 1st place runner)!
This is a fun run, so we will be celebrating everyone who completed the run. You are welcome to self-time if you’d like.
chp Scavenger hunt:
Starting at 2:00pm, guests can come to the office to pick up a form for the Scavenger Hunt. Then let the games begin; travel around the campground looking for items and take a picture!
A s’mores kit will be awarded to the first team to finish, but everyone who participates can return their form for a kid-friendly reward.
Food bank donations:
We will be collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food to donate to a local food bank. Participation is optional, but we’ll be making a matching cash donation for each item collected!
